Blinn Women Drop Regular Season Finale

BRENHAM -- After winning 20 games for the second consecutive year and climbing as high as #19 in the national rankings at one point, the Blinn women's basketball team goes into the regional tournament in a bit of a slump.

Blinn lost the final game of the regular season, a 69-55 decision to Tyler on Tuesday night. Blinn has lost three out of the last four games and depending upon results from other games around the conference, probably goes into the regional tournament as the #4 seed.

If that proves to be the case, Blinn will face Angelina in the opening game of the Trinity Mother Francis-Region XIV Postseason Tournament Friday at 6:00 p.m. Blinn lost to Angelina 64-56 two weeks ago in Lufkin. Lon Morris College in Jacksonville is the host of this year's tournament.
