OKLAHOMA CITY, OK -- Second-ranked Kansas blew open a tight game after halftime and beat Oklahoma 64-to-47 in the Big 12 Conference tournament in Oklahoma City.
The top-seeded Jayhawks led by two at halftime but went on an
18-to-2 run early in the second half to take control of the game.
Brandon Rush scored 16 for K-U and ignited the second half run
with a reverse layup, a 3-pointer and a pair of free throws.
O-U meanwhile hit just one of its first 14 second half shots.
K-U advances to tomorrow's semifinals against the winner of this
afternoon's Texas Tech-Kansas State game.
