Aggie Men Headed to Sweet 16

LEXINGTON, KY -- Acie Law hit a pair of free throws with 1.7 seconds to play as Texas A&M beat Louisville 72-69 in the 2nd round of the NCAA tournament.

Law lead Texas A&M with 26 points while Dominique Kirk added a season high 21.

Louisville had a chance to upset the 3rd seeded Aggies with 7 seconds to play but Edgar Sosa's 3 pointer was off the mark. Sosa lead all scorers with 31 points.

The win sends the Aggies to the "Sweet 16" for the first time since 1980.

Texas A&M will take on the winner between Memphis and Nevada next Thursday in San Antonio.
