LEXINGTON, KY -- "Captain Clutch" has done it again for Texas A&M. Acie Law took over late and led the Aggies past Louisville 72-to-69 in the South Regional. Law made two free throws with one-point-seven seconds to go to give him 26 points and clinch a berth in the Sweet 15 against Sunday's winner of the Nevada-Memphis game.
The third-seeded Aggies reached the round of 16 for the first
time in 27 years, surviving a raucous Rupp Arena crowd.
Rick Pitino's Cardinals had their chance. Edgar Sosa scored 31
points for Louisville But after going 15-for-15 from the foul line,
Sosa missed two free throws with 30 seconds left and Louisville
trailing by a point. The Cardinals never got any closer.
