HAMPTON, GA -- Jimmie Johnson has made it back-to-back Nextel Cup victories by capturing the Kobalt Tools 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Johnson pulled away after passing Tony Stewart with three laps
remaining. Stewart tapped the wall during the lap, causing him to
lose momentum and settle for second.

Matt Kenseth was third, followed by Jeff Burton and Juan Pablo
Montoya.

Johnson has had three consecutive top-three finishes since his
38th-place showing in the Daytona 500. He took last weekend's race
at Las Vegas.
