CHICAGO, IL -- Julian Wright scored 15 of his 21 points in the second half and top-seeded Kansas romped past Kentucky 88-to-76 in the second round of the West Regional.
Brandon Rush scored 19 and Mario Chalmers added 16. The Jayhawks shot a blistering 57 percent to win their 13th in a row. Kansas will play fourth-seeded Southern Illinois on Thursday in the West Regional semifinals in San Jose, California.
Randolph Morris finished with 22 points for Kentucky, which
finished 22-and-12 after losing seven of its last eleven.
