The Blinn softball team broke into the conference win column on Saturday with a doubleheader sweep of Lamar State College in Port Arthur. The Lady Bucs won the first game 7-1 and followed that up with a 7-0 shutout. The wins improve the injury plagued Lady Bucs to 13-27 overall and 2-8 in conference play. The team will now take a week off before returning to conference play next Saturday when they travel to Mt. Pleasant to take on Northeast Texas Community College.
