Colorado Has A New Basketball Coach

BOULDER, CO -- Colorado has hired Jeff Bzdelik to take over the basketball program. Bzdelik had two successful seasons at Air Force before agreeing to a five-year deal to coach the Buffaloes.

As coach of the Falcons he had a 50-and-16 record with an
N-C-A-A appearance last season. He took his team to the N-I-T final
four last month.

Bzdelik replaces Ricardo Patton, who resigned after eleven
seasons to take the head coaching job at Northern Illinois.
