COLLEGE STATION -- Back in August when the Texas A&M football team first reported, they set some team goals and one of those goals was to qualify for a bowl game. Two weeks ago following a 62-14 loss to Kansas State that seemed like a stretch. Two wins later, the Aggies are a win away from picking up its sixth win and crossing that goal off as completed.

"Picking up the win is obviously our first priority and the icing on the cake is getting bowl eligible," said A&M defensive back Jordan Pugh.

Pugh and the Aggies will take on Colorado Saturday afternoon at 12:40 in Boulder. The game will be broadcast live on Fox College Sports (DirecTV 617)

In Saturday's game, wide receiver Uzoma Nwachukwu suffered a helmet to helmet hit in the 3rd quarter. He happened at the 1 yard line and caused him to fumble the ball into the end zone for a touch back for Iowa State.

Uzoma was motionless for about 30 seconds and after several minutes sat up and later walked off the field under his own power. He would return in the fourth quarter and make another catch.

Head Coach Mike Sherman was ask about any lingering effects of that hit.

"Mild effects. I don't think it's going hold him out of this game. It'll probably hold him out of some contact this week in practice. But I don't think it'll hold him out of the game."
