Huggins Headed to West Virginia

MANHATTAN, Kan, -- Kansas State University says basketball
coach Bob Huggins is resigning to go to West Virginia.

Kansas State athletic director Tim Weiser made the announcement
in a short news release this afternoon.

Two newspapers previously reported that Huggins was leaving
Kansas State for his alma mater.

Huggins has said nothing publicly since John Beilein announced
Tuesday that he was leaving West Virginia to become Michigan's
coach.

Huggins was born in West Virginia, and has often said coaching
there would be his dream job.
