COLLEGE STATION -- The lottery process has been discontinued and a new system for distribution of men’s basketball student tickets for has been approved by the Texas A&M Student Senate.

“I believe this is a really good thing for students,” A&M Coach Mark Turgeon said. “It will make it a lot easier for them to get their tickets and take away any confusion. The 12th Man can make a difference in the outcome of every game this year. I’m calling on all students to come support their Aggie Basketball team.”

Students who have purchased the All-Sports Option can attend any basketball game on a seat-available basis by presenting their Student ID at the north or south student entrances to Reed Arena. Those with a valid All-Sports option may pull a physical ticket for any men’s game and can enter the arena 15 minutes early to select a seat before those who have not pre-pulled a ticket. A valid student ID is required along with a student ticket for entry.

When pulling physical tickets, one student may pull up to 10 tickets. A valid sports card is needed for each student ticket pulled. Physical tickets may only be pulled at the ticket windows at the Kyle Field Zone Plaza, not at Reed Arena.

Students without an All Sports Option may purchase a “walk-up” ticket on the day of a game by presenting their Student ID at any open box office at Kyle Field or Reed Arena. Walk-up tickets are $13 for regular games and $18 for premium games.

To purchase a guest ticket, students can buy a full-price guest ticket or purchase a half-price guest ticket by converting the sports pass of a student with an unused All-Sports Option. Either choice can be completed while pulling tickets or on game day. Guest tickets are $26 for regular games and $31 for premium games.

No A&M student has ever been turned away from a game at Reed Arena.
