Rangers, Sosa Smack Bosox

ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) - Sammy Sosa smacked a two-run homer and Nelson Cruz had three R-B-Is as Texas doubled up Boston 8-to-4.
Sosa hit the first pitch he saw from reliever J.C. Romero in the
sixth inning. It was his 589th career homer and first since 2005.
Sosa also scored on Cruz's two-run single that capped the
Rangers' four-run third. Texas trailed 2-to-0 before the rally.
Hank Blalock had three of the Rangers' 14 hits in their second
straight win over the Red Sox.
Kevin Millwood evened his record at 1-and-1, giving up three
runs in six innings.
Julian Taverez allowed four runs in as many innings to take the
loss.
