Bryan -- Texas A&M quarterback Jerrod Johnson has put up some big numbers this season. Those numbers have caught the attention of Colorado head coach Dan Hawkins. "It's not often that you find guys that are as tall as he is, that are as heavy as he is and that can run like he does and he's go a tremendous arm. I mean he can make all the wide field throws you want a guy to make. He's the total package and that's where again he can hurt you. He can not only scramble around but he'll put his foot in the ground and he can throw it a longs ways down the field so you better cover your guy."
Johnson and the Aggies are looking to run their current winning streak to three games as they travel to Boulder this weekend to face Colorado. If they do that Texas A&M will become bowl eligible.
The Aggies beat Colorado 24 - 17 last season at Kyle Field.
Texas A&M and Colorado will kick off at 12:30pm central time Saturday afternoon. The game will be televised on Fox College Sports which is available on Direct TC channel 617.

Buffs will pull the upset here. Ags better be ready.
Nope, I will respect all teams in any sport. I hope Buffs win, but I think it has potential to be a close game and A&M will probably win. Unfortunately, Hawkins likes to play his son (our QB) too much. When he is benched, the team generally does pretty well. We will see what is in store for our team and I wish A&M the best of luck on Saturday! I hope the cold and altitude doesn't get to them too bad :-)
Thank you Buffs fan for not posting mindless hatefilled drivel unlike some other classless B12 fans. Good luck to your team in the future. I for thought Hawkins was going to do in Boulder what he did in Boise much like you and your fellow Buffs fans did but it looks like Peterson was the brains of that op. Too bad though, I doubt the AD will ever go after another coach from Boise State. Peterson will be headed somewhere big in the near future.
