COLLEGE STATION -- The Texas A&M volleyball team continues its spring exhibition season Thursday as the Aggies participate in the Sam Houston State Tournament in Huntsville, Texas.

A&M is slated to play four abbreviated scrimmage matches during the one-day tournament, beginning with a match against the host Bearkats at 3 p.m. at Johnson Coliseum. A&M is then scheduled to referee the following match before resuming play against Houston Baptist at approximately 5 p.m. It will be the first of three consecutive matches for the Aggies, as they follow the HBU contest with back-to-back matches against Lamar and Northwestern State to conclude the tournament.

Matches will consist of two 30-point games. Spring results do not count toward a team’s win-loss record, and a tournament champion will not be designated.

Corbelli returns 12 letterwinners, including five starters from the 2006 season.

The Aggies conclude the spring season Saturday at the Texas Tornados Spring College Tournament in Houston.
