BRENHAM -- Britney Minor, a sophomore forward from Navasota, has been named a National Junior College Athletic Association honorable mention all- American, Blinn College head women's basektball coach Jeff Jenkins has announced.

Minor is Jenkins' first all-American in his head coaching career.
The 5-10 Minor averaged 14.7 points and 9.09 rebounds per game and scored in double figures in all 18 conference games.
She ranks fifth all-time for the Lady Bucs in points scored in a season (485); eighth in career points (696); fifth in single-season rebounds (300) and fifth in career rebounds (488).

Minor is the first Blinn women’s basketball all-American since Temeckia Brown in 2002.
