Red Hot Bucs to Host Whitecaps

Winning their tenth consecutive game, the bats stayed hot for the Blinn Buccaneers as they outslugged the Galveston Whitecaps 12-11 on Wednesday night on the island.

With the win, the Bucs reach the 30-win plateau to go 30-17 overall and 17-8 in conference play.

The Bucs, already assured a spot in the regional tournament, are still gunning for an outright conference championship and will pick up the series against Galveston on Saturday when the Whitecaps come to town for a doubleheader.

First pitch is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.

A reminder that Saturday is "Little League Day" at Dreyer Field. All Little Leagers wearing their jerseys will get into the game free, will get to stand at their respective positions on the field with the Blinn players before the game for the National Anthem, and will get to run the bases after the game.
