Bryan Fills Two Coaching Slots With One Family

By  |

The family that coaches together, stays together, and Bryan High School is using that to its advantage.

Bryan has hired Beth Jesurun to be the Lady Vikings' basketball bench boss, while her husband, Robert will join Bob Bellard's football staff to work with the Vikings' offensive line.

Robert has been the offensive coordinator and assistant head coach at Spring Woods.

He has been with the Tigers since 2002.

Beth has been the head girls' basketball coach at Humble since 2001.

Her record with the Wildcats is 142-65.

Her overall record as a head coach is 319-144.

In 2005, Humble was the Class 5A State runner-up.

Beth Jesurun will replace John Shelton who is switching gears to become the head girls' basketball coach at Bryan's new Rudder High School.

Ironically, Jesurun and Shelton squared off back on December 29th.

Bryan beat Humble, 79-to-68, at the McDonalds Invitational.
