ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) - Kameron Loe combined with four relievers on a shutout as the Texas Rangers blanked the Oakland Athletics 7-to 0 to end a three-game losing skid. Matt Kata hit a three-run
homer.
Loe is 1-and-0 after making his first major league start since
last June. He allowed three singles, struck out five and walked one
in five and a-third scoreless innings to help end the A's four-game
winning streak. C.J. Wilson, Joaquin Benoit, Akinori Otsuka and
Eric Gagne completed the shutout.
Joe Kennedy is 0-and-2 with the loss.
