DALLAS -- The National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame announced today that Chad Schroeder would be among the inaugural class of the NFF National Honor Society. The class is composed of all college football players who maintained a 3.2 GPA or better, met all NCAA-mandated progress towards degree requirements and served as a starter or significant substitute at an accredited NCAA or NAIA school.

Schroeder led the Aggies last year with 39 catches for 612 yards. He also led the team with 4 touchdown receptions. For his career Schroeder grabbed 71 passes for 1,223 yards and an impressive 17.2 yards per catch average. His 12 career receiving touchdowns rank fourth all-time in school history.

Off the field Schroeder was just as productive as he served as a leader in the community service organization Aggie Athletes Involved. He was also elected by his teammates to serve on Texas A&M head coach Dennis Franchione’s Leadership Council.
