The number 13 didn’t prove to be unlucky at all as the Blinn Bucs recorded their 13th consecutive victory with a 11-7 win over Alvin on Friday afternoon in Alvin.

Heading into the series, Alvin, Blinn and San Jacinto were all tied for the conference lead.

With the win, Blinn moves ever so slightly ahead of Alvin and remains tied with San Jacinto which defeated Wharton earlier in the week.

The series resumes on Saturday in Brenham with “Faculty and Staff Appreciation Day” beginning at 1:00 at Leroy Dreyer Field.
