Bryan -- The Texas A&M men's basketball team will spend their Thanksgiving holiday in Anaheim, California taking part in the 76 Classic. The Aggies will face Clemson in the first round on Thursday. The game is set for a 3:30 start and will be televised on ESPN2.
The game will be a chance from true freshman Khris Middleton to face a team from his home state of South Carolina. Aggie head coach Mark Turgeon is glad Middleton made is a part of his team. "We're just lucky they didn't have a lot of scholarships. Clemson had a really, really good recruiting class, in state guys and we're just lucky they didn't have a couple of more because he's here because of it and he's going to be a great one for us."
Clemson leads the all-time series against Texas A&M 3 - 2. The Aggies won the last meeting between the two programs 82 - 74 back in 2005. That game was at Reed Arena as part of the postseason NIT.
