OKLAHOMA CITY, OK -- Texas A&M will be making its ninth trip to the Big 12 Tournament in the league’s 11-year history. The nationally-ranked Aggies have missed the event the last two seasons.

The Aggies enter the tournament at Bricktown Ballpark in Oklahoma City with an overall record of 41-15 and finished fifth in the Big 12 Conference with a record of 13-13.

The tournament is divided into two pools. Each pool will play a round robin and the winners will advance to the championship game on Sunday at 1 p.m.

As the No. 5 seed, the Aggies will play fourth-seeded Nebraska on Wednesday at 10 a.m., first-seeded Texas on Thursday at 4:30 p.m. and eighth-seeded Kansas State on Saturday at 10 a.m.

The other pool features No. 2 seed Missouri, No. 3 seed Oklahoma State, No. 6 seed Baylor, and No. 7 seed Oklahoma.

The tournament will be played at Bricktown Ballpark for the ninth year. It has been held at another location only twice: 1997 at Oklahoma City All-Sports Stadium and 2001 at The Ballpark in Arlington.

The tournament will consist of 13 games in five days and FOX Sports Net will televise three of the 13 games.

The Aggies have advanced to the Championship game of the tournament twice, but have never won the championship.
