TUCSON, Ariz.- Texas A&M pitcher Scott Migl was named to the Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American team on Wednesday, chosen by Collegiate Baseball Newspaper.

Migl, who was selected as a relief pitcher on the squad, is 7-3 with an ERA of 3.77 in 74.0 innings of work. Most recently, he tied a career-high with seven innings of work against UL-Lafayette in the first championship game of the NCAA College Station Regional.

The team is headed by Collegiate Baseball’s Freshman Pitcher of The Year Ryan Berry of Rice and Freshman Player of The Year 1B Dustin Ackley of North Carolina.
