The Brazos Valley Bombers dropped their Texas Collegiate League debut at Colleyville Wednesday night, 4-to-3 in 12 innings.

It was also the first game for Colleyville, a team coached by former Texas Ranger Rusty Greer.

The Bombers were originally slated to start their season at Coppell Tuesday night, but that game was scratched because of wet grounds.

They will host the Duncanville Deputies in their home opener Friday night at Brazos Valley Bank Ballpark.

First pitch is 7:05.
