WICHITA FALLS -- Cody Curry and Casey Whitmer held the undefeated Roughnecks hit less for the first 7 innings as the Brazos Valley Bombers win it 13 to 5.
The Bombers used a 7 run first inning to jump on the home team and never look back.
Brazos Valley banged out a franchise record 16 hits on the night as they picked up their first road win of the season.
Joseph Towns lead the hit parade with a 4 for 6 night including a homerun, he also had 4 runs batted in.
The win improved the Bombers record to 2 and 3 on the season and snapped a 2 game losing streak. The Bombers will be in Denton Tuesday night for a 7:05 p.m. game against the Outlaws.
