Even Par Leads The Way At U.S. Open

OAKMONT, Pa. -- Angel Cabrera birdied his final hole that gave him a one-over 71 that was good for a one-shot lead over Bubba Watson at the 107th U-S Open. Cabrera is at even par after 36 holes.
Stephen Ames, Aaron Baddeley, Justin Rose and Niclas Fasth
are tied for third at 143. Paul Casey shot the low round of
the day, a four-under 66, and is three shots off the lead. David
Toms is in a group four shots behind the lead.
Phil Mickelson missed the cut for the first time in 31 majors
dating to the 1999 British Open at Carnoustie. He shot a
second-round 77 and missed the cut by one.
Other players missing the cut were two-time U-S Open winner
Retief Goosen, Justin Leonard, Shaun Micheel , Sergio Garcia, Adam Scott and Davis Love the third.
