UNDATED (AP) - Lose a major, become a father. That's what Tiger
Woods did over a 24-hour stretch that ended with the birth of his
daughter.
Woods announced on his Web site that Sam Alexis Woods was born
early this morning. Woods wrote that his wife and child are doing
well and resting peacefully.
The birth came hours after Woods finished in a second-place tie
at the U-S Open, one shot behind Angel Cabrera.
