ARLINGTON, Texas -- The Texas Rangers agreed to terms today

to Main, the 24th overall pick in the amateur draft two weeks ago.
Main is from DeLand, Florida.
Texas also agreed to terms with high school third baseman Matt
West from Bellaire, Texas. West was the 80th overall pick in the
draft and the sixth by the Rangers.
The Rangers haven't yet signed Blake Beavan, the right-hander
from nearby Irving High who was the 17th overall pick.
Also unsigned are three players Texas got as supplemental picks
between the first and second rounds.
