ARLINGTON, Texas -- Michael Young had four R-B-Is to lead
the Texas Rangers over the Houston Astros 7-to-2. Jamey Wright won
for the first time in almost a year.
Gerald Laird hit his fifth homer of the season in the eighth for
Texas, which has won a season-high four straight. The Rangers also
have won seven of nine -- all against National League opponents.
Wright beat Houston ace Roy Oswalt and improved to 2-and-12 in his career against the Astros. He's 1-and-1 overall this season. Oswalt is 7-and-5.
