ARLINGTON -- The Texas Rangers said today that they've recalled right-handed pitcher Scott Feldman from Triple-A Oklahoma.

He fills the roster spot left open after right-handed starting
pitcher Vicente Padilla (pah-DEE'-yah) went on the 15-day disabled
list. Padilla has an irritated triceps muscle in his pitching arm.

Feldman is one-and-two with a six-point-66 earned-run average in
19 appearances with the Rangers. In eight games for the Oklahoma
Redhawks, he's one-and-oh with a seven-point-24 E-R-A.

Padilla's three-and-eight with a six-point-69 E-R-A in 15 starts
for Texas.
