Madisonville Looks To Replace McCloud

MADISONVILLE -- The Madisonville Mustangs are looking for a new boys head basketball coach after Terrance McCloud resigned his post after 3 years to take over at Kemp High School.

McCloud grew up in Madisonville, played for the Mustangs and was thrilled to come back home to coach the Mustangs for the last 3 years, but said it was a family decision to return to the metroplex to coach.

During McCloud's time back on the Madisonville bench he lead the Mustangs to 3 straight trips to the playoffs including a district championship.

Madisonville superintendent Keith Smith said that Terrance helped basketball grow in a positive direction over the last 3 years.
