Astros Split Series With Mets

HOUSTON -- Roy Oswalt tossed seven effective innings and Chris Burke hit a two-run homer as the Houston Astros routed the New York Mets 8-to-3.
Oswalt improved to 8-and-5 getting his first victory since June
17th. He also has 106 wins since 2001, surpassing Randy Johnson's
105 for the most in the majors in that span.
Morgan Ensberg hit a two-run single in the first off losing
pitcher Dave Williams and the Astros were never challenged.
Carlos Beltran hit his 16th homer for the N-L East-leading Mets.
