Texas A&M Sweeps Big 12 Track & Field Athletes of the Week
Zuheir Sharif earned the Big 12 Indoor Track and Field Male Athlete of the Week, while fellow Aggie Natasha Ruddock received the Female Athlete of the Week.Zuheir is recognized for the second time in his career. It marks the first award for Ruddock.

Big 12 Indoor Track & Field Male Athlete of the Week
Zuheir Sharif, Texas A&M, Sr., Elk Grove, Calif./Franklin
Sharif claimed first place in the triple jump at the New Balance Collegiate Invitational in New York with a 54-3.75 (16.55) mark, which was also a NCAA automatic qualifier. The senior reset his own school record that he posted last year. Sharif is currently the collegiate and Big 12 leader in the event, while ranking second in the nation.
Big 12 Indoor Track & Field Female Athlete of the Week
Natasha Ruddock, Texas A&M, Jr., St. Catherine, Jamaica/St. Jago
Ruddock clinched a NCAA automatic time of 8.06 as she won the 60-meter hurdles at the New Balance Collegiate Invitational. Her time established a meet record and lowered her Texas A&M school record of 8.15, which she set two weeks ago. Ruddock currently ranks second in the NCAA and tops the conference hurdles list.
