DALLAS (AP) - The Dallas Stars today signed free agent winger
Todd Fedoruk to a one-year, 875-thousand dollar contract.
Fedoruk is an enforcer who's averaged more than one penalty per
game in 354 career games.
He started last season with Stanley Cup champion Anaheim before
getting traded to Philadelphia in November.
Fedoruk finished with 120 penalty minutes and 14 points in 58
games.
Stars general manager Doug Armstrong says Fedoruk adds the
elements of size and toughness to the team.
The 6-foot-2, 241-pound Fedoruk was a second-round pick in 1997
by the Flyers, who traded him to the Ducks in 2005 before getting
him back.
