The Brazos Blaze lost to the Austin Slam Rangers 15-7 in their first bracket game at Premier National Championship in Dallas, TX.

The lead changed hands several times before the Austin Slam pulled away with seven runs in the final inning. The Blaze offense was led by Derrick Hadley, Dillen Ashton and Chris Byrne with two hits each. Travis Gardner, Caleb Riebe, T J Nixson and Tyler Eppler each added one hit.

The Blaze will play Team Kelley from Dallas, TX on Saturday.
