Blinn head football coach Brad Franchione must fill a position on his staff with the season approaching rapidly.

Mike Nesbitt, who guided the offense during the Buccaneers' run to the NJCAA National Championship in 2006, is headed out to the Panhandle.

Nesbitt has taken an assistant coaching position with West Texas A&M.

His last day with Blinn was July 9.

Offensive line coach Lloyd Spotted Wolf is now designated as the Bucs' offensive coordinator.
