Novi Sad, SERBIA -- Texas A&M's DeAndre Jordan scored 11 points with six rebounds on Tuesday to help Team USA remain unbeaten at the U19 World Championships with a 104-65 win against Brazil.
Michael Beasley led the United States with 16 points while Patrick Beverley added 13.
The U.S. (5-0) will play France (4-1) on Wednesday to close out second round play. After Wednesday's second round contests, the top four teams in each group will advance to Friday's quarterfinals. The semifinals are scheduled for Saturday with the gold medal game on Sunday.
In other Group E second round play Lithuania (2-3) beat China (1-4) 85-66, while Serbia (4-1) upended France (4-1) 79-62. In Group F, Canada (2-3) downed South Korea (1-4) 99-83, while Turkey (3-2) upset Spain (4-1) 59-56, and Australia (5-0) nipped Argentina (3-2) 79-78.
In classification play, Nigeria (2-3) finished in 13th place with an 82-65
victory over Lebanon (1-4), while Mali (1-4) earned its first win to take
15th place after edging Puerto Rico (0-5) 89-81.
