The search for a new head baseball coach at Blinn College continues with a selection expected to be announced Monday afternoon, college president Don Voelter said late this afternoon.
Voelter is part of a five-member committee that is interviewing three finalists to replace Brian Roper who stepped down after eight seasons to take a full-time teaching position on the college’s Bryan campus and to spend more time with his family.
The three finalists are: Philadelphia Phillies scout and former Iowa Western Community College head coach Therron Brockish, Chattanooga State (Tenn.) Technical Community College head coach Gregory Dennis and Blinn pitching coach Harvey McIntyre.
