Wortham's Davis Adjusting To Life As A Cowboy

SAN ANTONIO (AP) - Leonard Davis is settling into right guard at
Dallas Cowboys training camp.
Davis is taking over the spot from Marco Rivera, a free agent
signee who never lived up to expectations. It's the only change on
a line that last season made way for a one-thousand yard rusher and
two one-thousand yard receivers. It was just the second time the
Cowboys pulled off that feat.
But Davis could be on the move, sooner if not later.
Starting tackles Flozell Adams and Marc Colombo are on the
physically unable to perform list and expected back within weeks.
Should either have a serious setback, Davis would be the first
option. With Adams headed into free agency, Davis may wind up
replacing him next season anyway.

Also at Cowboys camp today:
-- Injured and disgruntled linebacker Greg Ellis says he'll have
an announcement late next week on his future. He declined to
-- Tempers flared in the morning session, with defensive end
Chris Canty ripping off his helmet and having to be restrained
during a shouting match with running back Julius Jones. Coach Wade
Phillips brushed it off, saying it was "more for the crowd."
