KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) - Leo Nunez pitched six scoreless innings
as the Kansas City Rangers pounded Texas 10-to-0 to complete a
three-game sweep.
Nunez, who was recalled from Triple-A Omaha before the game,
allowed three singles and a walk while making his second big league
start.
David DeJesus (deh-HAY'-soos) and Tony Pena (PAYN'-yuh) Junior
each had two hits and three r-b-i's for Kansas City.
Kameron Loe dropped 5-and-9 allowing six runs over five and
a-third innings. Joel Peralta pitched the final three innings for
his second career save.
