NEW YORK -- Alex Rodriguez is the newest and youngest member
of the 500 home run club. With two runners on, the New York Yankees
32-year-old third baseman brought the Yankee Stadium crowd to its
feet by slamming the first pitch he saw from Kansas City's Kyle
Davis over the left field wall. It's his 36th homer of the season.
Rodriguez also hit the first home run of his career against the
Royals.
