MANHATTAN, KS -- Tight end Rashaad Norwood was suspended from the Kansas State football team today.

Norwood was arrested twice at his ex-girlfriend's apartment in
Manhattan yesterday.

Police say the 22-year-old senior faces charges of battery,
criminal damage to property, criminal trespass, and obstruction.

Coach Ron Prince says Norwood's standing will be reviewed once
the judicial system has run its course.

Norwood was the number-two receiver for the Wildcats last year
with 36 receptions for 358 yards.
