Huff, O's Rough Up Rangers

BALTIMORE (AP) - Erik Bedard tossed seven strong innings and
Baltimore hit a pair of homers in a 6-2 win over Texas.
Bedard won his ninth straight decision, giving up two runs and
five hits while striking out eleven. He improved to 13-and-4 and
increased his American League-leading strikeout total to 218,
matching Mike Mussina's team record in 1997.
Miguel Tejada's two-run homer capped the Orioles' three-run
first. Aubrey Huff's two-run blast put the O's ahead 6-0 in the
fifth.
Vicente Padilla dropped to 3-and-9, yielding six runs and seven
hits in five innings.
