HOUSTON -- Woody Williams won his third straight decision
and Ty Wigginton hit a solo home run as the Houston Astros beat the
Washington Nationals 3-2.
Lance Berkman added an RBI triple as Houston snapped a
three-game losing streak. The Astros beat Washington for just the
second time in the last nine meetings.
Austin Kearns hit a two-run homer for Washington, which scored
18 runs in winning the first two games of the series.
Williams is 7-and-12 with the win. Brad Lidge pitched a perfect
ninth for his 12th save in 17 chances.
