Lone Star State Still Alive At Little League World Series

SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. -- Lubbock today beat Lake Oswego,
Oregon, 8-2 to advance to the U.S. championship game in the Little
League World Series.
Bryndan Arredondo hit a three-run homer in the third inning in
South Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
Undefeated Lubbock (3-0) rallied from an early two-run deficit
to dump Lake Oswego (2-2).
Taylor Bridges added a three-run homer in the top of the sixth.
Calvin Hermanson's two-run single in the second gave Oregon a
2-0 lead before Texas scored four runs in the third.
Earlier today, Willemstad, Curacao, beat Maracaibo, Venezuela,
4-2.
Venezuela was eliminated.
