Stricker Tops Choi At Westchester

HARRISON, N.Y. (AP) - Steve Stricker has won the first stop on
the FedEx PGA playoff. For the first time in six and a-half years
the veteran has won a tournament as he finished 2 shots in front of
K.J. Choi in The Barclays.
Stricker shot a 2-under-69 in the final round to finish 16-under
for the tournament. Choi was 1-under on the final day and finished
play at 14-under.
The win moves Stricker to the top of the FedEx Cup standings
with a 2,050 point lead over Choi. Tiger Woods skipped the event,
the first of four playoff events, and fell to fourth in the FedEx
Cup standings.
