STARKVILLE, Miss. -- Craig Steltz had three of LSU's six
interceptions and the second-ranked Tigers manhandled Mississippi
State 45-0. LSU has beaten the Bulldogs eight straight times by a
combined 340-81 margin.
Bulldogs quarterback Michael Henig set a dubious school record
by throwing six picks. Henig also fumbled the snap on a
fourth-and-1 attempt on one of two Mississippi State forays into
LSU territory.
Mississippi State has lost 12 straight games to Top 10 opponents
and 11 of its last 13 home games.
LSU's Steltz, Curtis Taylor, Jonathan Zenon and Danny McCray had
interceptions in the first half. Steltz added two more in the
second half.
