CHICAGO (AP) - Aramis Ramirez hit a tie-breaking, two-run homer in the sixth inning to lead the Chicago Cubs to a 4-to-3 win over Houston.
Derek Lee added a solo homer in the eighth inning that wound up
being the margin of victory.
Jason Marquis picked up the win after working six and two-thirds
innings to improve to 11-and-8.
Luke Scott hit a home run for Houston and knocked in two runs as
the Astros had their three-game winning streak snapped.
Troy Patton allowed just one hit in the first five innings for
Houston, but took the loss to go to 0-and-2.
