BELTON -- Bryan (15-7) swept Belton Friday in the district opener. The varsity team won 25-21, 25-13, 25-9. Megan Destefano led the team with 12 kills, 4 digs, and 3 aces, and Kaylee Piatt added 9 kills, 5 digs, 2 solo blocks, and 2 aces. Amanda Cune added 4 aces and 12 digs. Amanda Cernovich had 2 block assists and 5 kills, and Jennifer Hall had 4 kills. The junior varsity won 25-11, 19-25, 27-25, and the freshman won 25-21, 25-11. Bryan travels to Killeen Ellison on Tuesday.
