Navasota -- The Navasota Rattlers won their first game at the new Rattler Stadium by beating Hempstead 43 - 0.
Jacolby Stokes started the scoring with a seven yard touchdown run. Navasota added a two point conversion to take an 8 - 0 lead. That was the score after one quarter. Stokes would two more touchdown runs in the second quarter helping the Rattlers build a 22 - 0 halftime lead.
Dexter Pratt started the scoring in the third quarter with a six yard touchdown run. Stokes would throw a touchdown pass in the third quarter to Gaston Lamascus.
Navasota will be off next week. The play at Hearne September 21st.
